✅ Option 1: Install via the Chrome Web Store (easiest method)

• Go to the InfoSave Chrome Web Store page

• Click “Add to Chrome”

• When prompted, click “Add extension” to confirm

• Chrome will install InfoSave and show a confirmation

• Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right of Chrome

• Go to Extensions → Manage Extensions

• Find InfoSave in your collection of all extensions

• Click on "Details" and then turn on "Pin to toolbar"

• Click the InfoSave icon in your toolbar

• Register your account and log in — you’re all set!

✅ Option 2: Install InfoSave Manually

 

• Click the “Download InfoSave Now!” button below

• Once the download finishes, find the InfoSave V1.0.zip file in your Downloads folder

• Create a new InfoSave or InfoSave V1.0 folder somewhere easy to find (e.g. Desktop)

• Right-click the downloaded ZIP file, and select “Extract all”

• When prompted, choose the InfoSave folder you just created, and click Extract

• Open your Chrome Browser and click on 3 vertical dots in top right-hand corner

• Select Extensions, then Manage Extensions

• In the top-right of the Extensions page, turn on “Developer mode”

• Click “Load unpacked”, and select the extracted InfoSave folder

• Once loaded, click “Details” under the InfoSave extension and Pin to Toolbar

• Click the InfoSave icon in the top-right of Chrome to open it

• Register your account and log in — you’re all set!

📋 What Can InfoSave Capture?

InfoSave is built to help you save time and avoid frustration by capturing the messages you enter into online forms — when you choose to activate it. ​This page explains where InfoSave works best, when it might miss something, and how Premium features can fill the gap.

✅ Forms InfoSave Can Capture

If you're typing into a regular webpage form — whether it’s a quick message or a detailed multi-step submission — InfoSave can most likely capture it. InfoSave works best with:

• Contact forms

• Feedback and complaint forms

• Support ticket systems

• Application and sign-up forms

• Surveys and questionnaires

These are the most common types of forms found across websites, and InfoSave is designed to detect and extract your entries clearly and reliably.

 

​❌ When InfoSave Might Not Capture Everything

​
While InfoSave handles most forms well, some complex form structures can be more difficult to access depending on how they’re built:

• Forms inside iframes from other websites

  • Some websites embed their forms inside iframes — essentially little windows that load from another domain. Browser security rules prevent InfoSave (and other extensions) from accessing these areas. That’s to protect your privacy, but it also limits what InfoSave can do.

• Forms that only appear after logging in or interacting with the page

  • If a form only appears after logging in or clicking through steps (e.g. a multi-stage complaint wizard), InfoSave may not detect it unless it's already visible on the page when you trigger capture.

• Complex or non-standard input types

  • Inputs like sliders, star ratings, or CAPTCHA fields don’t always store data in a standard way, which means InfoSave may not be able to extract them.

• Shadow DOM or virtual DOM frameworks

  • Some modern websites use technologies like Shadow DOM (Document Object Model) or React-style virtual DOMs, which can make fields harder for browser extensions to access. We're continuing to expand InfoSave’s ability to handle these more complex form structures.

• Make sure the form is visible when you activate InfoSave

  • It captures what’s currently on the page — or in the case of multi-page content, Premium can hold each page’s screenshot as you go.

• Preview before you save

  • InfoSave always shows you exactly what’s been captured, so you know what will be sent before anything is emailed.

• Take full control with Premium

  • You can untick any fields or sections you don’t want included in your saved email copy.

• Can’t scrape it? Snap it.

  • Premium users can take screenshots to visually capture anything InfoSave can’t extract — perfect for unusual form layouts or protected fields.

Can I use InfoSave on my mobile browser?

• Not yet — InfoSave is currently built for Google Chrome on desktop or laptop. Mobile browser support isn't available due to Chrome extension limitations on mobile devices.

Does InfoSave work on pop-up forms or modals?

• Yes! InfoSave is designed to handle most standard pop-up forms, modals, and overlay windows — as long as they're part of the current page. If you run into a form that doesn’t work, let us know and we’ll look into it.

What happens to my data?

• Your data stays private and secure. InfoSave only captures what you choose to save, and then sends it directly to the email address you’ve registered. We don’t sell or share your information — ever. You’re in control.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

• Just click the “Upgrade to Premium” button inside the extension or on our website. You’ll be guided through a quick and secure checkout process. Once you're upgraded, all Premium features are instantly unlocked.

I didn’t get my email — what should I do?

• Start by checking your Spam or Promotions folder. If it's not there, open InfoSave and resend the form copy from your recent submissions.
