The Story behind InfoSave

InfoSave was born out of a deeply frustrating experience—one I think a lot of people can relate to.

Not long ago, I spent quite a bit of time carefully filling out an online complaint form for a faulty product that had caused damage. I detailed what went wrong, explained how it affected me, and even offered a few suggestions for improvement. I hit submit and figured it was dealt with.

A couple of weeks went by, and I realised I hadn’t heard anything back. I checked my email—nothing. No confirmation, no response. And worst of all? No copy of what I wrote. It felt like my effort had disappeared into a void.

I had to try and recreate the whole thing from scratch—digging through old packaging (thankfully it hadn’t been thrown out) and piecing together what I’d said. It was frustrating and a waste of time, but more than that, it left me with the sense that the company didn’t care and couldn’t be held to account.

That’s when I realised: this isn’t just my problem. Every day, people put time and thought into online forms—whether it’s a complaint, a service request, or feedback—and they often have nothing to show for it. No record. No control. No peace of mind.

So, I built InfoSave.

InfoSave is a simple, yet powerful Chrome Extension that captures whatever you type into online contact, feedback, or complaint forms—and emails it back to you. Your words, your details, your time—they’re saved. You get a record you can search, reuse, or refer to. You stay in control.

I built InfoSave because I believe your time and effort should matter. And that the internet should work for you—not the other way around.

If you’ve ever hit "submit" and instantly wished you’d saved a copy… InfoSave is for you.

Thanks for being here. I hope InfoSave helps you feel a little more in control, a little less frustrated, and a lot more empowered.
